It's fine with me. I think I am the only mod on right now so if anyone has a problem with the ebay ID being posted, please PM me.

I hope everyone here makes note of the seller's e-Bay name. I am not sure how long we will be able to keep it posted if we get complaints. Since this is verified by AG, I think it is doing us and anyone that reads our board a service to help stop this bad business. Just a reminder from the rules-

Additionally, if you ask people on the board to help you identify a fake or an untrue statement in an auction description (remember, you cannot post a link to the auction unless approved), and the consensus turns out that the item probably is fake or some untrue statement has been made about it, it is against ebay rules to contact any of the bidders on the auction and warn them away from the item.

So what about the unsuspecting bidders on his current doll? Can they be directed to the "fakes" sticky? This is an awful situation! Please keep us updated on your sister, Angie.

I am hoping that this turns out so that the seller wishes he'd never heard of American Girl dolls, mwaahaha He'll learn that unified and organized groups of collectors are not to be taken lightly when one of them has been burned!

I was wondering about that poor person who is bidding now? It seems awful to let her bid and possibly win. Is it against the regs to post her with the link to this thread or like the previous post said, to the sticky folder? This whole thing just shows that 100% feedback even has to be read between the lines!

Angie PLEASE get your sister to register a complaint about this seller. Until someone does, he is going to continue to defraud people.
I heard about the whole thing from another board I am on, and came over to ENCOURAGE ya'll! Way to go! Getting the word out about fraudulent sellers keeps them from making money off people.

Also, because of this post I learned about this board, too! WOO HOO! lol
